If you’re a tea lover, you’re going to love this email.

I’m going to tell you the story of how a couple turned their passion for tea into a thriving ecommerce business that makes $30k per month.

Plus, I’ll share some ecommerce tips that you can use to grow your own store.

The couple I’m talking about are Andy and Jie, the founders of Teasenz.

Teasenz is an ecommerce store that sells high-quality loose leaf teas and teaware from China.

But it wasn’t always easy for them to start and run their business.

Andy and Jie met in China, where they both worked as teachers.

They shared a love for tea, and they often visited tea markets and farms to learn more about the culture and history of tea.

They also noticed that there was a HUGE GAP between the quality and price of tea in China and in the rest of the world.

They decided to start their own online store to bring authentic Chinese teas to global customers.

They quit their jobs, invested their savings, and launched Teasenz in 2013…

However, they faced MANY challenges along the way.

One of the biggest challenges was finding reliable suppliers and logistics partners.

They had to deal with language barriers, cultural differences, quality issues, shipping delays, customs regulations, and more. They also had to compete with established brands and marketplaces that had more resources and reputations.

But they didn’t give up on their dream.

They worked hard to build trust and relationships with their suppliers and customers. They also focused on creating valuable content and educational resources for their audience.

They created a blog, a YouTube channel, a podcast, and an online tea academy where they shared tips, reviews, stories, and courses on tea.

By doing these things, Andy and Jie were able to create a loyal fan base and a strong brand identity.

They positioned Teasenz as more than just a product seller but as a leader and an expert in the tea industry.

Today, Teasenz has OVER 10,000 customers from over 100 countries, and it makes $30k per month in revenue.

So what can we learn from Andy and Jie’s story?

Here are some ecommerce tips that you can take away from their success:

  1. Follow your passion and solve a problem.

Don’t start an ecommerce business just for the sake of making money.

Start it because you love what you do and you want to help others.

Find a problem that your target audience has and offer a SOLUTION that they can’t find elsewhere.

  2. Build trust and relationships with your suppliers and customers. Suppliers are your partners in your ecommerce business.

Treat them with respect and honesty, and they will reward you with quality products and service.

Customers are your lifeblood in your ecommerce business. Treat them with care and appreciation, and they will reward you with loyalty and referrals.

  3. Create valuable content and educational resources for your audience.

Content is KING in ecommerce marketing. Create content that informs, entertains, educates, or inspires your audience.

Content can help you attract new customers, retain existing customers, increase brand awareness, boost SEO rankings, generate leads, and more…

  4. Position yourself as a leader and an expert in your industry. Customers want to buy from brands that they trust and respect.

Position yourself as a leader and an expert in your industry by sharing your knowledge, experience, opinions, and insights.

This can help you establish credibility, authority, differentiation, and influence.

These tips are simple but powerful. You can implement them easily and quickly, and you’ll be amazed by the difference they make.

    And the most important part…
