Alo Yoga’s Beginning

In the heart of Los Angeles, an idea took root - to create a brand that would not only create a sense of community but inspire wellness and bring yoga to the world. That idea bloomed into Alo Yoga, co-founded by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge. Our mission was clear from the start: to focus on yoga outfits and dominate the conversation of mindful movement on social media.

A Vision Beyond Fashion

From the beginning, Alo Yoga was more than just a fashion brand. CEO Danny Harris emphasized that Alo Yoga was a destination for well-being. This vision allowed us to grow under separate sub-brands, each catering to specific content for different audiences. Our core identity remained about yoga, and from 2016 to 2018, we focused on building our yoga credentials.

Innovation and Expansion

We are proud to be recognized as one of the World's Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company in 2021. Our commitment to innovation is evident in our product expansion, including the launch of our skincare line, The Glow System, and our streaming platform, Alo Moves. The latter saw a 7x increase in subscriptions during the pandemic, proving our commitment to providing wellness solutions in challenging times.
