Do you love crime stories?

Do you enjoy solving puzzles and finding clues?

If your answer is yes then I have a killer story for you today…

It’s about how two veterans turned their passion for crime stories into a booming ecommerce business.

Meet Ryan and Derrick, the founders of Hunt A Killer, the immersive murder mystery game that you can play at home.

Ryan and Derrick met in the military, where they served as intelligence officers…

They bonded over their love for crime stories, and often discussed their favorite books, movies, and podcasts.

After they left the service, they decided to pursue their dream of creating their own crime stories…

…They wanted to create a game that would challenge and entertain people, and make them feel like they were part of a real investigation.

They started by creating a prototype of their game, using cardboard boxes, paper, and scissors.

They filled the boxes with clues, such as letters, photos, maps, and evidence.

They tested the game with their friends and family, who loved it…

They decided to launch their game online, using a subscription model that would deliver a new box every month.

Each box would contain a new episode of a six-month-long murder mystery.

They also created an online community where players could interact and share their theories.

They faced many challenges along the way, such as finding the right suppliers, managing inventory, and scaling their operations.

But they persevered, and learned from their mistakes.

They also hired a team of writers, designers, and actors to help them create the best stories possible.

Today, Hunt A Killer has over 100,000 subscribers, and has been featured in Forbes, CNN, and BuzzFeed.

They have also teamed up with charities and celebrities to support various causes, such as mental health awareness, veterans’ issues, and wildlife conservation.

So, what can we learn from their story?

1) They followed their passion, and created something that they loved.

2) They validated their idea, and listened to their customers.

3) They overcame their obstacles, and adapted to the market.

4) They built a loyal fan base, and a strong brand.

…Ryan and Derrick are not just entrepreneurs.

They are storytellers, who have created a unique and engaging experience for their customers.

They have also inspired me to think outside the box, and create something that I'm passionate about.
